NYC's monthly code meetings on January 2012, approved - Appendix K, Chapter K4 code revisions for MRL elevators. This modifies A17.1 "S" / 2005 which is the MRL supplement to the A17.1 code. The effective date of this code is 2/24/12 after which time any MRL's installed in NYC must comply with this standard. Click here to view the revision.
