Summary of Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

Charter Elevator is a 5-year-old premier elevator maintenance, modernization and repair company. Charter has experienced tremendous growth, with five offices serving the Carolinas, including Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Wilmington, Raleigh and Charlotte. With this expanded growth we have a need to grow our field delivery team. This is a great opportunity to join a great team in a fantastic location.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Experience: Minimum five years of experience in the elevator industry or military. Specific Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors: 1. The successful candidate will be an independent and innovative thinker with great communication skills. 2. Five years of experience in maintenance/repair/modernization within the elevator/escalator industry (multiple manufacturers preferred, however not required) 3. Familiarity with and training in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, as applied in the elevator industry. 4. Experience with or ability to learn PC based applications 5. Willing and able to travel with occasional extended over-night stays. Automobile driver’s license and frequent day travel required within the Region. 6. Good leadership, organizational, both written and verbal communication and customer relation skills. 7. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical procedures, specifications, and governmental regulations. 8. Perform assignments in accordance with established maintenance and safety rules, regulations and procedures.
