Overview:
This interactive 10-hour course is designed to provide an in-depth review of the key changes between the ASME A17.1-2022/CSA B44:22 and ASME A17.1-2019/CSA B44:19 elevator and escalator safety codes, which will include the following:
• Code Update Overview: A detailed comparison of significant code changes from the 2019 to 2022 editions, with a focus on Sections 2 through 8.
• Maintenance Control Program (MCP) Requirements: A comprehensive look at the updated MCP requirements, outlining the specific responsibilities of inspectors and mechanics under the new code.
• 2025 Safety Handbook Review: A review of relevant updates from the 2025 Safety Handbook and how they align with recent code revisions.
