TORONTO - 1 December 2017 – Rimrock Corporation today unveiled an update for its award-winning elevator contractor management solution built for the Microsoft Cloud and within the Microsoft Dynamics platform. FIELDBOSS Lift 2.5 adds significant amounts of new functionality, features, and performance improvements that continue to drive business process automation and operational insights.

Violation Management
FIELDBOSS Lift 2.5 introduces violation management configurable by jurisdiction. Users can now create open violation tasks and defects while managing critical dates, defect responsibility and monitor the remediation to completion.

Configurable Checklists for Paperless Maintenance Tasks or Health and Safety Compliance
New to FIELDBOSS Lift, the service task configurator makes it possible to create customized and automated electronic checklists which allow the technician to follow and document prescribed maintenance or service procedures while on-site and automatically send it back to the office or the customer.

Maintenance Contract Management
Version 2.5 extends the innovative functionality released in previous versions to further optimize the maintenance contract creation as well as automating the scheduling and billing functionality. Lift 2.5 is much more flexible in managing large volumes of complex contracts while providing real-time tracking of profitability.

Field Request Entity
FIELDBOSS Lift 2.5 includes a field request entity that enables technicians to communicate with the head office for all common situations including parts requests, requests for quotes for some new work for a customer, scheduling changes etc.

Billing Automation
Version 2.5 adds a variety of new enhancements to automate billing so that it is efficient, on time, and fully complete. It is very flexible and can easily process and adapt to unique billing requirements in bulk without the need to adjust each individual invoice. 

Time Cards
FIELDBOSS Lift 2.5 includes time card functionality that is used to automate time entry and job costing while providing seamless integration to payroll. It allows users to efficiently track time and work performed in the field on their mobile device using simple clock in-out buttons and provide real-time tracking of data and a paperless process for billing and payroll.

Enhanced Business Intelligence
FIELDBOSS Lift 2.5 now includes numerous new out-of-the-box dashboards for billing, case management, dispatch, field requests, maintenance contract management, payroll, project management, project tasks, sales, and violation management.

Version Availability

Implementations for new customers will begin on December 1, 2017 while upgrades for current customers will commence early Q2, 2018.
