Mission Statement
NAEC is an association of elevator contractors and suppliers serving primarily the interests of independent elevator contractors and independent suppliers of products and services; promoting safe and reliable elevator, escalator and short-range transportation and promoting excellence in the management of member companies.

Who we are, and where we're going
Consolidation and the constant evolution of the industry over the last 55 years have made the elevator community a relatively small and close-knit group. This means that being well known and respected by all members of the elevator industry has long been a key to doing business. An NAEC membership is an excellent vehicle for fostering the relationships you need, and for promoting trade between suppliers, contractors and customers from around the world.

From the yearly convention, to quarterly conferences, monthly newsletters and on to the development of our new website; we have worked hard to create an environment that promotes discussions, dialogue, and member participation.

But NAEC is important for more than building contacts. It is also a forum for the discussion of technical issues, and for promoting awareness of the latest standards. In addition to this, it is a resource center that members can use to find answers to crucial questions, or share their expertise with others.

In redeveloping this website, we have added exciting new features that will allow our members to more actively exchange vital information with each other. Over the next few months, you can expect several more new features to come online; each of which has been carefully thought-out and designed to help NAEC members do business more effectively with the tools of the information age.

The elevator industry continues to progress rapidly, both in size and in complexity. As it does, NAEC plans to stay in touch with the latest in technical advances, and to continually find innovative new ways to inform our members of these changes. The Internet has changed the way we all do business. NAEC will continue to expand our presence on the web to benefit our members in ways that cannot yet be foreseen.
